Description:  This spot is along US 59 a couple of miles north of Stilwell. A couple of years ago, this was a good place for a bucolic scene, especially if the cows were out. The shrubbery has grown up so much that youre hard pressed to see much of the power, never mind any train.

Description:  The H train has pulled down for headroom as it works the Watts yard, coming around the hard curve south of South Watts. A tele lens brings in the hillside behind the train, as if to drive home the point that Oklahoma aint all flat. Theres a reason there are DPUs on most trains here.

Description:  Usually the DPU will be at the end of the train, except where there are intermodal cars of auto racks, in which case it will be ahead of them. This H train had its DPU ahead of a pair of side dump cars which had been used in fixing the recent washout here at Watts. My guess is that they are restricted from being pushed.

Description:  I had chased the H train down to Baron and was returning home through Westville, when I looked over to see a TXUX train going south. There was no way I was going to catch the head end without a ride back to Baron, so I opted to get the shot of the trailing units across the pasture. A nice looking set of power trails south, giving the heavy train a push past some future steaks.
