Album Info:Pictures from my trip to Gainesville, TX, on October 11, 2014. It was the day of the OU-TX game, so they extended the Heartland Flyer to 5 cars. Ironically, however, they did not use number 189, the unit with "The Heartland Flyer's Big Game Train" painted on the side. Regardless, it was a great trip. Train was on time both ways.

Description:  This station was built in 1916, I believe, following a tanker car explosion that destroyed the previous one, as well as many surrounding buildings. A nearby monument commemorates those killed in the explosion.
