Album Info:This past February and March, I got to go to Guthrie a few times, and let me tell you, it's an awesome place to watch trains! There's a little yard there, and often, one will be parked in it waiting to go. Plenty of parking is available around the old depot, which has benches right next to the tracks. Plus, the trains often go only about 5 mph when they head through town, making it easy to get shots. Besides trains, Guthrie was the capital of Oklahoma back before it became a state, and it has several historical museums, as well as a nicely preserved historic downtown and an antique store. Great, easy place to visit in the Oklahoma City area!
