Description:  PRR #4483 (I1) was built in 1923 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. It was assigned to the PRR's Eastern Region, Susquehanna Division and Northern Region in 1944. #4483 was retired in 1957 and became part of the historic locomotive collection stored at Northumberland, PA. In 1963, #4483 was sold to the Westinghouse Air Brake Company in Wilmerding, PA and put on display outside of the facility. The Western New York Railroad Historical Society (current owners) acquired #4483 in 1982.
