Album Info:Boston Switch in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Typical New Haven tower erected at the Junction of the old Boston and Providence Railroad, and the Providence and Worcester Railroad. Closed and shuttered in the late 40's. Boston Switch is 5 miles to Providence and 39 miles to Worcester at this point

Description:  Classic New Haven Tower. Boston Switch was shuttered and closed in the late 40's and the interlocking transfered to Lawn tower. The tracks to the left with the typical New Haven semaphores belong to the Providence and Worcester Railroad. Tracks on the right are the Amtrak Northeast Corridor tracks
