A couple of weeks prior to this shot, I was here, also with a Q train, and the shutter release failed. Now I have a shot at redemption. The power and several cars of todays Q train pass an old corrugated steel barn and a yard full of hay bales in a scene that is quintessential rural Oklahoma. |

I decided to see if there was a shot while I was waiting for the Q train to get here from Westville. This is the through truss over Baron Creek, looking south from "downtown" Baron. A tinge of fall color highlights the structure. Well see a northbound TXUX train on it later in this series. |
