Description: |
This beefy 0-8-0 has the look of a road 2-8-2 Mikado but was just a heavy duty yard switcher. Built by Alco-Schenectady in September of 1922, the switcher served well for nearly 31 years before being retired and scrapped in November of 1953. No locaiton, date or photographer was listed for the photo so approximates were used. |

Description: |
Built by Alco-Manchester in October of 1906, this loco was superheated in 1911. Not sure when the loco was retired and scrapped. Original specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 19x26" cylinders, engine weight of 127,000 lb, tractive effort of 25,327 lb. No locaiton, date or photographer was listed for the photo so approximates were used. |

This 2-8-0 Consolidation was built by Baldwin in March of 1913 as BM #2684. After nearly 33 years of service to the Boston & Maine, it was sold to Bangor & Aroostook in August of 1946 and renumbered BAR #196. It only lasted 4 more years before being scrapped in June of 1950. Original specs - K-8-b class, 61" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine wt of 219,400 lb, tractive effort of 48,200 lb.
