ITGX 11563 |
Description: |
Oglebay Norton is the GCSR's primary customer. This car would be interchanged with the BNSF at Lometa and continue to the Oglebay Norton plant in Bakersfield, Ca. where it would further processed. The finished product might very well find itself being shipped back to the oil fields of Texas. |

Not a high-profile vehicle crossing. It was a little tight for my 3/4 ton truck. |

Gulf, Colorado, & San Saba sand train at the end of the day |
Description: |
FURX 1170 pulled up to the Hall crossing about 5PM. A small pickup pulled up beside the engine, honked his horn, and the crew went home. Railroading is a lot simpler on a shortline. |
