Album Info:Thi SB train designated the V36 caught me off guard as it came in from Hagerstown, MD. The V44 came in firrt from the north bringing a load of grain in for the CHW. Not 10 minutes later this military train, (V36) came in behinj the V44 and was followed by yet a third SB train, the 35Q some 15 minutes later. When it rains it pours!! The V36 pulled through the yard to the south end before coming to a stop. Crews were picked up and driven down to the head end via the yard's personnel carrier, giving me just a few shots of the V36. Most of the pictures were taken along.US 340 accross from Merck where the train was moving between 45 to 50 mph. Hope you enjo> the photos as much as I did watching this train fly by, snapping pictures and hoping for the best! **I did some home work because I was not jappy not knowing what this stuff was. It allows the vehicle driver to load and unload cargo without any additional material handling equipment, and without leaving the vehicle cab.
