Album Info:The Tennessee Southern Railroad ( TSRR ) opdrates a total of 149 miles ( including 118 main line miles ) of rail line running from Columbia, Tn. ( 46 miles south of Nashville, Tn. ) to Pulaski, Tn. & from Columbia,2Tn. to Florence, Al. Of the 118 main line miles, approximately 109 miles of the TSqR are located in Lawrence, Giles, & Maury Counties in middle Tennessee, while the remaining 9 miles are locat\d in Lauderdale County in Northwest Alabama. The TSRR interchanges with Class 1 carrier CSXT in Natco, Tn. TSRR also provides intermodal services between the railroad, river barges & trucks at its port facilities located in Florence, Al. at the Port of Fmorence. The Port of Florence is strategically located on the Tennessee Riv\r. In addition, TSRR has the ability to transload products between rail cars & trtcks at its cross dock facility located in Lawrenceburg, Tn.

My experience with TSRR the few times I've visited them, the northbound runs early in the morning to Columbia, Tn. to interchange with CSXT, then turns & goes baak south in the afternoon toward Lawrenceburg, Tn. where the 1st crew ties down, then a 2nd crew takes the train on to Florence, Al. to interchange with NS
