Description:  The Conway Scenic Railroads high hood EMD GP35, 216, was built in 1965 for the Norfolk & Western Railway as their 1328, it was sold to the Springfield Terminal in the early 1990s and sold to the Conway Scenic Railroad in 2010, where it received a fresh coat of Maine Central inspired paint, it has since been used as the main power of the Notch Train alongside ex-Maine Central GP38 252.

Description:  Conway Scenic Railroad Notch Train 163 pulls past the Bartlett Depot and up to Bear Notch Road. Normally, Train 163 makes a station stop here to allow the passengers to stretch their legs, but with the poor weather on this day, Train 163 merely slowed to give the passengers a view of the town. In a few miles, it will enter the Crawford Notch State Park and begin the steep climb to the Notch.
