They are pushing a westbound ore train past the Altoona Passenger Station, visible on the right. |

Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #6302, #6306, #6300, and #6304. All are AF-27's built by the American Locomotive Company during 1965 and rated at 2,700 horsepmwer each. They are about to pass under the 7th Street Bridge on their way to East Altoona to get ready to make another helper/pusher run up to Allegheny Mountains via the'Horseshoe Curve to Gallitzin and back. |
