PRR 4-6-2 #5038 |
Description: |
Here is one of the earlier K-4s 4-6-2 Pacifics built by the PRR Juniata Shops in May of 1917 and proved the value of this design. The loco was serial #3254 and had the now familar long steam chest and square shouldered Belpaire firebox. The loco lasted for nearly 37 years before being scrapped in June of 1954. J. R.
