It became UP 4090 on June 23 1989, was retired by UP on April 18 1994, was sold to Canadian National on Oct 13 1995 was numbered CN 6090 while still in UP paint and eventually renumbered to CN 5387. Just as these engines approached, a (very kind) MoPac policeman was telling me that the area around this spot was "no place for a man with a gun, let alone a girl without one!" but instead of running me off, he waited with me until I made the picture.
