Description:  CN Ashcroft Subdivision across the Thompson River from Skihist Provincial Park. Eastbound CN freight behind SD40-2 #5245 and SD40 #5092 just east of Lytton B.C. passing through the rock sheds on June 30, 1978. This is a hard scene to duplicate now as the CN and CP have initiated directional running where all eastbound trains, be they CN or CP, run on CP Thompson Subdivision across the Thompson River so this location on the CN Ashcroft Subdivision currently only sees westbounds.

Description:  Just south of Tunkhannock Creek is a pull off along US 11, which allows a stunning view of the bridge. I caught 30T rolling south here. The viaduct has walls on the sides, which partly obscure the view of the train, but its still an impressive sight.
