Couldn't find much information about it other than it had 52" drivers and generated 180 psi boiler pressure. Photo credit goes to Warren W. Description:  this 1913 Alco-Richmond built 0-6-0 yard switcher was the first to carry the number 250, long before a U28B had the honor. This was a class S-33 loco used to shuffle cars in the Dallas, TX, yard, a far piece from Chicago or Rock Island, IL! No exact day in 1944 was give for the photo taken by W.D. Barry Jr.

Description:  Long before a U28 diesel wore the Rock Island number 252, this plucky little switcher had the honor. Built by Alco-Richmond in 1913, the little tyke has more pipes, ropes, tubing, and bumps to its boiler than something twice as big! No exact date was give. Photo stamp on back - Robert Graham.
