LV 2-10-2 #4045 - Lehigh Valley |
Description: |
According to SteamLocomotives/com, this Santa Fe-type 2-10-2 was built by Baldwin in 1919 as a class R-1 unit but was rebuilt and renumbered in 1928-29 as a 2-8-2 #280. However, the highly detailed notes left by the unknown photographer on the protective paper sleeve states this photo was taken in November of 1950 (by a Ciroflex "B" camera set at an 7 Fstop for 1/25th sec on E-XX film and developed using DK-60a solution with an exposure of 8 sec on photopaper #3). The photographer's date and the rebuilt date do not match. Can anyone help? |
