C1895 If I’ve read the RR History tea leaves properly this 2-6-0, MEC #17 was built in 1894 at Schenectady builders number 4211, MEC Class M. Cyl 19x26 with 62 inch drivers. Renumbered to 221 in 1900 and scrapped in Oct on 1923. Photographer, location and date are unknown, however it looks quite new in this scene in front of a station. /DL |
