Description:  General American Transportation tank car GATX 70282 was an AAR type T054 built by GATX at Sharon, Pennsylvania in August 1981. The car had a gross rail load of 263,000 pounds, a light weight of 58,900 pounds and a load limit of 204,100 pounds. It was lettered SUFURIC ACID and displayed an 1832 (sufuric acid) placard. GATX 70708 was on a Canadian National-Illinois Central transfer run in New Orleans running from MAYS YARD to STUYVESANT DOCKS YARD and the New Orleans Public Belt.
