RPCX/Colorado Midland 7-Buf.-Lou.-Obs. 1099 "Bedford" |
Description: |
Built nearly 40 years after the CM ceased operating, RPCX 1099 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1954 as Canadian National 1099 "Bedford". In 1978, the car was transferred to VIA Rail, retaining the same number and name. The car was sold to Rail Ventures in 1990. It would be resold again to another private owner and moved to PRyM. Work is slowing being performed on the car, with this faux Colorado Midland paint job being started. The other side still wears faded VIA paint. |
