Description:  Built by Pullman-Standard as New Haven 6 Bedroom-Buffet-Lounge 550 "Bay State". 550 was went to Penn Central in 1969, becoming PC 4434. Amtrak would purchase the car in 1971, renumbering it 3211. It was retired in 1981 and later sold to a private owner. At the time of the sale, an observation platform was created out of the non-vestibule end of the car. It was given a PPCX number (800140) and christened "Peterson Canyon". The car has changed hands since that time and resides in storage at PRyM.
