The successor the Jordan Spreader of old, the LIRR recently purchased the spreader last year in anticipation of the occasional heavy snows, but also to spread ballast upon trackwork, etc. Here it rests on the Team Track after being used to remove snow along the Right of Ways of the Montauk, and Main Line that received on average of 2 foot of snow from Winter Storm Juno. |
