Homeward bound |
Description: |
An Oyster Bay train makes its stop at Albertson, one of the more obscure stations on the railroad. It was a blacktop platform just north of I U Willets Rd with no facilities. Note the red stripe on the first car, indicating it's a parlor. In this case, it's a subscription car, and not open to the general public, as on the Montauk trains. |

There was one parlor that did not run on the Montauk Branch, a subscription car on the Oyster Bay Branch that was a members only affair. Here it is at Albertson, right behind the power. |

Description: |
An Oyster Bay train rolls east at Queens Village. To the left is the team yard, only occasionally used, and mostly by MOW forces, by this time. |
