AMTK 9622 |
Description: |
Amtrak 9622 at Roosevelt Road in Chicago, Illinois on an unknown day in October 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This car was built by Pullman-Standard in 1958 as C&NW 701, I believe it was part of the Flambeau 400, sold to Amtrak in 1974 and numbered 9612. It appears to be freshly painted here and possibly refurbished, renumbered to 9622, sold for scrap in March 1992. |
