JR Morton General This is the last example of a fleet that once numbered 197 units. I handled this unit in the lead of a westbound VD Train out of Selkirk in the late fall of 1970. Upon arrival at DeWitt it was turned in to the DeWitt Diesel Terminal where they disconnected the traction motors and set this engine up to be a power car form the rotary snow plow that season. I do not beleive it ran again in revenue service. 7/1/2013 11:19:29 AM
Marty Bernard General An amazing comment. Not just "Nice picture Marty." What is VD? Yes, once the traction motors were disconnected, I would doubt she ever ran again under her own power. 7/1/2013 11:17:18 PM
