| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad GP20 935 eastbound at Naperville, Illinois on April 1, 1964, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was the highest numbered GP20 on both the CB&Q and BN rosters. It was built in April 1961 (c/n 26606) on EMD Order 7597, the last of 36 GP20's ordered by the CB&Q. It became BN 2071 and was retired in June 1985. Another interesting feature of this photo is the Phillips Petrolium truck in the middle right of the frame, almost matching the CB&Q paint scheme. |
