I find it interesting that it shares a number with one of the FRA's inspection cars, but I don't think they are the same vehicle, because office car 218 entered service in 2004, as per the DOTX website, but LRC 218 was still around in 2007, as seen here. I wonder what the DOTX bought it for? Can anyone explain?
