its is a GP11 and YES the ICG/IC DID Have them ! After all it was ICG that Created them in the First Place ! a Good Way to tell them from Other Units is the Cab.if it hass an EMD Standard Style Cab its a GP11 and if it has a Round "Home Chop" Style Cab its A GP10 or a GP8.Most GP11 were 8700 Series Units from Various Cores Non 8700 Series Units Such as this One,were Mostly ex UP GP9Bs.GP11s were Also done by PNC as well.and for other Railroads too.Alaska RR,US Army Units and Clichfield/Family Lines/SBD 4600-4605/1700-1705 were Some of them.

this is a GP8. A number of both GP8's and GP10's recieved the angular EMD style such as the #7915 The GP8's and GP10's can be easily distinguished by the short hood. On the GP11 the shorthood is much shorter due to the DASH 2 electrical cabinet, requiring the cab to be pushed further forward.
