Ron Moraca General Pretty photo, Mike. Does the PLC still exist? If so, do they still use diesels like the VO-1000 pictured here? 10/15/2007 1:41:14 AM
John Schumann General 104 and 105 went on a weird voyage that landed them on the Iowa Falls to Vinton operation of the Keota & Washington in 1981. 105 never ran there, and 104 made a few trips before burning a traction motor. K&W quit the line sometime in 1982, and both VO1000s were cut up after. I missed both units on my trip there in 1982-they were stored behind the elevator building in Wellsburg, and I didn't see them, much to my regret. 3/14/2014 5:40:50 PM
