Built as road number 1634 in September 1941 (c/n 1369) on EMD Order E399, class 6-ES on the Milwaukee, it was renumbered 977, then 949, then 881, then traded to EMD in May 1980. Also seen is F-M H-12-44 754, built in March 1951 as road number 1830 (c/n 12L430), class 12-FS on the Milwaukee, renumbered to 754 and sold for scrap to Joseph Behr in Rockford, Illinois during March 1981. |
