The Petit Train du Nord (literally Little Northern Train) was built in 1875 from Montreal to St. Jerome. It was operated by Canadian Pacific and VIA Rail until 1982. AMT suburban line has been using the track since 1997. It is seen here North of AMT Blainville station. Ahead of us at the crossing was CP Bouchard station. Oi the horizon, the beginning of the Laurentian mountains, beyond St. Jerome. |
