Curt Beal General You got it when it was switching. I like that. 7/24/2010 12:42:24 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General Actually they weren't switching here. They have to clear up at this location because they're blocking the NS at 32nd Street Interlocking. They usually pull at least to 50th Street where the conductor walks back to the head end. Conductor has to line the switch & derail at 5th Avenue then ride past some crossings to clear up the NS & some road crossings. If they do any switching it's at 50th Street, not here where I shot it 7/24/2010 12:48:54 AM

Chris S General I was hoping for this while in Gadsen 3 weeks ago, but no luck; great shot here, though, William! 7/25/2010 7:55:17 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General I'd like to catch them street running in Gadsden myself. I used to run on this line to Gadsden occasionally back when CSXT still ran on the Alabama Mineral Sub to Gadsden & Guntersville. Grain Trains went to Ivalee at a Tyson Plant just north of Attalla, Al. 7/26/2010 9:47:39 AM
