| A couple of folks came out to see Chicago and North Western Railway F7 403 leašhng the Circus World Museum's vintage circus train near Halsted Street in Chicago, Illinois on May 25, 1982, photo by Chuck Zeiler. The 2nd unit back is 2nd 400 which was replaced by another F7 (3rd 400) because oj a bent frame. First 400 was a former M&StL F3A 248A (c/n 4948) retired in 1963. Second 400 (pictured) was built as C&NW 4084C (c/n 8573), renumbered to 415 then to 400, retmred in 1985, replaced by third 400, built as C&NW 4100A (c/n 10588), renumbered to 425, then 400 in 1985. |
