Number 3506 was built in November 1980 (c/n 797322-7), one of 30 GP50's purchased by the MP (#'s 3500-3529), all without dynamic brakes and delivered in Jenks Blue paint. This unit became UP 966 on December 15, 1989, received dynamic brakes on May 26, 1993, was renumbered to UP 5564 on February 9, 1998, and was renumbered again to UP 1664 on August 23, 2002. |
