Number 74 was built in May 1974 (c/n 74605-5), later becoming UP 2804, later still UPY 804. Chicago & Illinois Midland power on the BN was commonplace in the late 1970's and early 1980's. They were in exchange for the BN's run through power on Commonwealth Edison coal trains over the C&IM/P&PU from Peoria to Havana, Illinois. |
