david ratcliff	General	GOSH! Thank you so much, sir, for posting these photos. I grew up in Laurel, MS and was born in 1967, worked at the city pool that used to be in that same park and, in 1984, sat atop this very train, with a very good beer buzz with my fellow lifeguard (off duty) and sang the National Anthem as the fireworks were fired on Carrolll Gartin Avenue! I will never forget that night and I also climbed aboard that monster before the ever controlling fencing back in the seventies of my youth when we'd play engineer, conductor, etc. all over this hulk.
