Southbound Intermodal in the Snow  Contributor's Pick!
This was the first train of the day after it started snowing, it is pushing 2 inches of snow off the rail head with the first axle. This was really powdery snow and the trains really blew it around today. This one passed at 50 mph. School was canceled today at Malden and dad and I ventured out into the winter wonderland. We ended up getting 4 inches, a good sized snow for this area, especially when it was right at freezing when the precipitation occured.
