OKLAHOMA CITY OK Sept 3 1978 -- Santa Fe GP7 2752 awaits its next switching assignment as it sits near the Nowers yard office. The oil derrick in the background is on the Oklahoma Capitol grounds. EMD built the 2752 in August 1952. Santa Fe’s Cleburne shops rebuilt it as a GP7u in November 1981 and it became ATSF 1323. It gained a low short hood and was to be used with a slug. In Sept 1993 it was renumbered BNSF 3833. (Roster information from atsfrr.net) |
