DME on EB ethanol
An eastbound ethanol train led by two Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern engines is tied down on the east end of the Belle Isle siding of CSX's Syracuse terminal-subdivision; right behind it (and out of view) on the same track is the K636 led by CEFX unit #1048. The train in the background on the left side of the frame is CSX's Q380, they're stopped on track 2 of the mainline at CP293. At 06:30 NF dispatch informed the Q380 that they would have a short hold here so that an eastbound Amtrak (280) could pass them and then they could procede as usual. I snapped this photo off at 07:30. So; they've been here for an hour or so, come to find out, because of signal/switch malfunctions. That has got to be very frustrating!
