Since 1860, when the Raritan & Delaware Bay RR first laid rails here, trains have travelled through the small borough of Shrewsbury; today, the train frequency is just one trip per week, but it's good to see a 152 year old line still in service. Conrail Shared Assets local SA-31 traverses the same roadbed as so many before her, enroute to Bergen Iron Works, now known as Lakewood, NJ.
