A pair of Michigan brand L320 front-end loaders filled this rather short 35 car coal train at the Bullskin Coal loadout on a SWP Railroad spur in Connellsville Township, Pa. These old tracks date back to the days of PRR, PC, and Conrail and are not in the greatest of shape anymore. They only see low-speed coal trains. Both tracks come to a dead end in Connellsville now. At one time it went right through downtown Connellsville and beyond. The line was cut off back when I was still I kid. |
