| Roaring through 412 aboard a hot mail train, Conductor Ed Laforge leans out the window on his final ride into the sunset, as 21Z moves toward its destination in Chicago. A trip back home tomorrow on 20K is all the stands in the way of him spending the rest of his life with the ones that he loves. After 41 years of railroading, and doing it for Penn Central, Conrail, and NS, he has well deserved a happy retirement. |
