| Here is a pic from inside the old tower at Johnston Yard facing north. This tower was torn down in the 1980s and sat between the Caboose Track and the Big Crossover. Looking out the left window, you can see C-Yard, or goat hill as it was called. C-Yard was the southbound classification yard. Looking out the right window is A-Yard, which was the northbound classification yard. Picture taken sometime in 1974. |
