Chuck Zeiler	General	Note the extra large steam generator ahead of the cab. I cannot speak for the C&NW, but I have seen similar generators on CB&Q Pacific-type locomotives assigned to suburban service. The extra large generators powered the lights in the trailing coaches, which were still heated with steam.	11/22/2012 8:55:45 PM
