| Cheating a bit to put this photo in an L&N album, but it's more about the location than the train. This spot is just south of where the St. Louis Metrolink LRV line departs the old L&N right of way to continue further east. Now all that's left here is a curved ridge that used to support the roadbed running through this same cultivated field. Back in 84, however, you could still catch the afternoon local headed west for E. St. Louis. |
