Allan Love Jr General What the hell did it have sex with? LOL My God. 4/24/2013 7:43:50 PM
Fred Stuckmann General Some Baldwin, some EMD, a bunch of odd. Great shot. 4/25/2013 6:32:36 AM
Chris S General A bastard child, the shop did a great job with the transition from the Baldwin cab roof to the EMD carbody; fantastic catch, great shot 4/25/2013 8:59:59 PM
Bernie Feltman General Love those trucks ! 4/26/2013 4:43:10 PM
Alan Fricker General Ex-Katy unit, re-engined by EMD from an AS-616, IIRC, GP carbody adapted to the Baldwin frame. 3/19/2014 8:41:47 PM
Terry LaFrance General That's not ex Katy, theirs were all 4 axle. This type of re-eninging was pretty common. Katy, Frisco, and CNW all had EMD replace Alco and Baldwin engines with 567's. Since the 567 was taller than the original motors they used the talled EMD (GP9-ish) hood. 6/11/2014 3:17:05 PM
