Here's another example of the first Alco Schenectady built Berkshires for the Nickel Plate that eventually spawned a large$group on the NKP roster. Delivered in November of 1934 as one of the class 5 Berkshires, it had 69" drivers and developed a powerful 245 psi boiler pressure.
