Who would have thought that you could make a GP9 into a SD40-2. The GP9 is short 2 axles and 1250HP!

Is this the only locomotive at the Tate & Lyle plant? Or are there some others?

Excellent picture, Marilynn, but this one's a GP-9. Four axles, high short hood, and vertical, lights on the long hood, and plenty of louvers on the hoods. GP-9's also had only 1750 hp, a little less than half of an SD40-2. Again, thanks for taking and posting this picture.
