Mark Carron General Doug, is it possible to visually check the frame number of this locomotive? Various sites list it as either 4290-8 or 4290-11. Ex-BN 180 has frame number 4291-3 (seen by me in storage in Minneapolis on Sept. 4, 1982); Ex-BN 182 (later GCSX 1189:1 & later USN) has frame number 4292-2. One site lists Ex-BN 183 and 184 as having frame numbers 4292-3 and 4292-4. Therefore, I believe the frame number of this locomotive is actually 4292-5 or, possibly, 4293-1. Considering the age of this locomotive and the fact that some of the other 10 Ex-NP SW1200's that were bought from EMD at the same time have already been scrapped, it would be great if the frame number could be visually checked before it runs out its last miles.
