According to utahrails.net, number 4466 was built by Lima in October 1920 (c/n 6003) as a coal burner, was assigned as the Cheyenne shop switcher until it was moved to Grand Island, Nebraska sometime before April 1960; retired at Grand Island in July 1962 and held for historical purposes; donated to Railway & Locomotive Historical Society; moved to California in May 1973; donated to California Railroad Museum, Sacramento, California, in June 1978; restored to service in 1984, with partial support of UP; out of service since 1999 awaiting extensive boiler repairs. |
